What Is EQ?

Emotional intelligence (sometimes referred to as EQ, EI, or EQ-I) refers to the ability to recognize and regulate our emotions, and to positively influence our relationships with others. Put simply, strong EQ enables us to choose how we think, feel, and act.

 

Our Unique Approach

Our approach to helping you level up your EQ is uniquely different from other programs. It starts as you would expect – we break down the four components of EQ: Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness, and Relationship Management. But we take it one important step further. We overlay your EQ results (thoughts and feelings) on top of your DISC profile (communication and behavior style) to paint a thorough picture of how they combine to form your personality. In this method, we teach you how to utilize your strengths and talents from your natural style to increase your emotional intelligence, which leads to extremely powerful outcomes that stick!

 

In our EQ program, you will learn how to:

  • Define Emotional Intelligence (EQ/EQ-I)

  • Discover the four Components and 18 Talents of EQ

  • Understand your EQ through the lens of your DISC style (the Eagle-D, Parrot-I, Dove-S, and Owl-C)

  • Understand how emotions and style impact effectiveness

  • Turn your feedback into lasting results with guided action planning 

Our program will provide you with a detailed report that includes an assessment of your DISC profile and your Emotional Intelligence results. For each EQ Component, you will receive a thorough analysis of what that Component looks like with high and low EQ based on your specific style so you can see what it will look like at both an evolved and unevolved state. Your report will also contain a series of action planning questions specifically selected based on your individual style to help you soar.
